What will your tasks and responsibilities be?
- Operating a forklift for loading, unloading, transporting and storing pallets, including basic forklift maintenance
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing trucks and ensuring optimal use of warehouse space
- Recording dispatched pallets and handling internal transport damage
- Supplying departments with pallets, packaging and semi-finished products, and removing waste materials
- Supporting automated transport systems, including roller conveyors and lifts, and supplying packaging and other incoming materials
- Operating and performing basic maintenance of pallet wrapping equipment, troubleshooting automated processes and responding to wrapping line alarms
- Maintaining cleanliness in warehouse areas and waste collection points, and removing glass cullet, waste packaging and foil from the production hall
- Participating in stocktaking and projects, and communicating with other departments and external contractors
What do we expect from you?
- Completed secondary vocational education in a technical field; a lower level of education may also be considered with several years of relevant work experience
- A valid forklift operator licence
- Precision, reliability, attention to detail and a team-oriented approach
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is an advantage
