Who are we?
The Vaider Group can take pride in a well-branched network in the European and global markets of the glass industry. The Group develops and produces glass packaging and other related services, such as marketing and business services related to glass and trading in raw materials for glass production. The company is committed to innovation, sustainability, and the satisfaction of all stakeholders, driven by over 160 years of tradition and deep knowledge of glassmaking (both in the design and production of glass packaging products).

What is Vaider?
The word “VAIDER” in the Romansh language, one of the four official languages in Switzerland, means glass and embodies both the identity and values of the Vaider Group. We chose Romansh because the Vaider Group is headquartered in Switzerland and because Romansh represents tradition while signifying fascinating originality, as only about 60,000 people worldwide speak this language.
The care for the survival of the language can also be translated into the glass industry, focusing on environmental care and sustainability with innovative technologies, which the Vaider Group is committed to, alongside its subsidiaries: Steklarna Hrastnik in Slovenia, Vaider Srpska Fabrika Stakla in Paraćin, Serbia, Vaider France in Cognac, and other sales offices across Europe.

We are proud to sponsor Team CEREEF, powered by Vaider Group, competing in the prestigious RC44 competition. The RC44 regattas are famous for their excitement and dynamic nature, and we are glad to support Team CEREEF Vaider, a consistent top contender since joining the class in 2008. Also part of our sailing team is Tina Mrak, one of Slovenia’s best female sailors, who has competed in four Olympic Games and stood on the podium three times in the World Cup.
