Glass bottle manufacturing, screen-printed decoration
Pink 47 is a premium London Dry Gin produced in small batches using twelve botanicals sourced from around the world.
Bottled at 47% alcohol by volume, the gin has a higher strength than many conventional gins, allowing its botanical flavours to come through with greater intensity.
Over the years, Pink 47 has received thirteen international spirits awards, including Gold at The Gin Masters in 2016. At the time of the original project, the gin was available in more than thirty countries.
Its carefully developed recipe and striking presentation reflect the brand’s ambition to stand out in the premium gin market.
Although the spirit itself is clear, its name and packaging take their inspiration from something altogether more colourful.
Pink 47 takes its name from the Khavaraya pink diamond, which also inspired the shape of its glass bottle.
The bottle’s faceted body reflects the geometry of a cut gemstone. Its angular surfaces catch the light from different directions, creating an interplay of reflections across the clear glass.
The transparent material allows the gin to remain visible, while the diamond-shaped silhouette gives the bottle an immediately recognisable appearance.
Screen-printed decoration brings the Pink 47 branding directly onto the glass, complementing the angular shape without concealing the spirit inside.
The result is packaging that connects the brand’s name, visual identity and product in a single design.
Vaider Group (formerly HRASTNIK1860) was selected as one of the glass manufacturing partners for Pink 47, supporting the production of its diamond-inspired bottle within the required timeframe.
The project brought together the brand’s packaging concept and the practical requirements of glass manufacturing.
The faceted shape, proportions and decorative details all had to be considered in relation to production feasibility and the quality requirements of premium spirits packaging.
Vaider Group’s technical and production teams contributed their glassmaking expertise to the project, helping bring the bottle from concept to industrial production.
The finished bottle combines clear glass, sharply defined facets and screen-printed branding. Its diamond-inspired shape remains closely associated with Pink 47, giving the gin a recognisable presence on the shelf.
