German Innovation Award 2021: Gold for e.Bottle

Steklarna Hrastnik, now part of Vaider Group, received the Gold distinction at the German Innovation Awards 2021 for its innovative e.Bottle smart packaging solution.

The award, the highest distinction presented by the jury, recognised e.Bottle in the Food & Beverages category within the Excellence in Business to Consumer class.

Developed by Steklarna Hrastnik, e.Bottle takes glass packaging beyond its traditional role. The smart bottle features a reusable electronic tag combining wireless smartphone communication, IoT sensors and RGB LED technology.

The solution enables brands to interact directly with consumers, offer new digital experiences and strengthen the connection between their products and customers.

The German Innovation Awards bring together experts from various disciplines, including product design, technology, marketing and business, to recognise innovations that deliver practical value.

For Vaider Group (formerly HRASTNIK1860), this recognition remains an important milestone in the development of intelligent glass packaging solutions.
